The Southwark LGBT Network was set up in 2002 to enable the LGBT community in Southwark to respond to the needs of their communities.
The network is established particularly for the benefit of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people in need in Southwark, to preserve and protect health, relieve poverty and distress and to educate the wider community of these issues as they affect the LGBT community.
To work in close collaboration with voluntary and community organisations, other groups in the community and the statutory sector where their aims are consistent with the aims of the network.
