Queertopia Consortium

Company logo (1)

The Queertopia Consortium is a dynamic organisation committed to advancing LGBTQIA+ inclusion and support within London’s lively community. Founded in 2024, we have become a driving force for positive change, uniting residents, community organisations, and partners to tackle issues impacting the LGBTQIA+ community. Through advocacy, education, and community involvement, we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where diversity is embraced, and every voice is valued.

Our advocacy efforts focus on lobbying for LGBTQIA+ rights and belonging and influencing local policies to protect and promote these rights. We campaign against all forms of discrimination, raising awareness and promoting equality across all sectors of society. Regarding education and awareness, we provide workshops and training sessions for organisations and community groups to foster a deeper understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues.

Community support and networking are also integral to our mission. We offer support groups that provide safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals to share experiences, seek advice, and find solidarity. Our networking events bring together residents, community members, allies, and partners to strengthen collective efforts and build a robust support network. Through cultural and social events, we celebrate diversity and create opportunities for social interaction through regular meet-ups and recreational, resident-led recreational activities.

We also focus on health education, promoting mental and sexual health education and resources to ensure the community is informed and empowered to access services that encourage healthy choices. Our research efforts involve conducting community research to better understand the needs and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community in London.
