There are numerous people and organisations who have helped shape the Fund and actively support the different components of the programme.
The Grants Team, and the wider Consortium Team, work alongside our Community Panel Members and Community Collaborators, managing engagement for the Fund, application support and organisational development. All applications will go through a due diligence process by our Grants Team to ensure eligibility and to provide any relevant information to our Community Panellists.
Our Community Panel Members lead on decision-making, feedback and prioritisation for applications received. The members are a range of intersectional LGBT+ people who share diverse lived experiences across the communities of focus, to ensure fair and equitable decisions can be made on which organisations to fund. The panel members will make a collective decision on whether to award a grant, based on eligibility and priority of need.
We aim to make decisions as quickly as is practicable and applications will be assessed on a rolling basis. We anticipate this will be a maximum of 4 months from submitting your application to a decision being communicated.
If you have any questions about the Equity Fund, please get in touch with the Grants Team, who will be more than happy to help.
